Short version: SuperChat Tracker doesn't collect your data. Everything you track stays on your computer. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry.
What the app stores
SuperChat Tracker saves your tracked super chats and rants in a local SQLite database on your machine, in your user application support directory. It never leaves your computer. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup, no shared data.
What the app sends over the network
The app communicates only with the platforms you ask it to track:
- YouTube — to load each live chat popout you've added.
- Rumble — to load each watch page or chat popup you've added, and to subscribe to that stream's chat data.
- Public link previews — when you click a link in the app's footer or splash dialog, your default browser opens that URL.
Each connection is a normal HTTP request to those services, identical to what your web browser sends. The app does not contact a SuperChat Tracker server because there isn't one.
Crash reports and analytics
None. The app has no crash reporter, no analytics SDK, and no built-in update telemetry. If something breaks, you'll see it locally.
Updates
When automatic update checking is enabled in a future release, the app will fetch a small JSON manifest from the SuperChat Tracker website to learn the latest version number. That request is anonymous (no user identifier).
Third-party services
The app does not embed third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social trackers. The website you're reading uses Google Fonts (loaded directly from Google's CDN), which means Google receives the standard request metadata your browser would send to any website.
Children's privacy
SuperChat Tracker is a productivity tool for creators. We don't direct it at children under 13 and don't knowingly collect data from anyone (because we don't collect data at all).
